Yash Owada

Yash Owada

Vice President, Clerk, Director 
Dr. Yasuyuki "Yash" Owada (Vice President, Clerk, and Director) served as a faculty member in the field of anthropology and organizational behavior and as a ten-year Director for the Johnston Center (for Integrative Studies) at the University of Redlands. He describes his 30 years of experience with the Johnston Center as eye-opening and soul-shaking, as the Center provided the setting for students to learn efficiently and productively by teaching their professors. Now retired, Dr. Owada currently serves as Retired Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Japan International Christian University Foundation of New York. He is currently a Trustee of EngageAsia, Inc., New York.  Dr. Owada, born to Japanese parents in Manchuria, China, graduated from the International Christian University in Tokyo, and he received his M.A. and Ed.D. degrees from Teachers College at Columbia University.
