Educational Materials

LEX Language Project / Language Research Foundation publishes educational materials - audio materials and books - in the areas of languages and linguistics as well as math and natural science. LEX audio materials and books are ideal for those who enjoy learning through immersion and self-discovery. Below is information about the various educational materials used by members of LEX Language Project both during language clubs and at home.

Audio Materials

LEX language materials include audio recordings and transcripts that are used at LEX Language Project clubs. LEX audio materials are ideal for acquiring languages naturally through immersion, without classes or tests or drills. These materials are offered in up to 22 different languages and available as MP3s or CDs.

Natural Science

At LEX, the spirit of adventure and self-discovery extends beyond languages to include topics in mathematics and natural sciences. LEX math and science books are unique in that they were written by a group of learners - students at the Transnational College of LEX in Tokyo - who share their journey of learning and discovery. 

Kanji Cards

Learn 25 basic Japanese Kanji (ideographs) while having fun playing everyday card games such as Concentration, Hearts, Spit, or Old Maid.  These cards make a great ice-breaker when hosting or traveling and are a perfect thank you gift for your host family.  Also a great gift for anyone interested in Japan.
