LEX is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission to empower individuals and communities across generations to develop their full potential through multilingualism and multiculturalism. There are three integrated components to LEX – language clubs, international exchange programs and internships, and educational materials.  The heart of our programs is an openness to all languages and all people.

LEX Language Project clubs provide immersion-style multilingual language learning fun for families and individuals of all ages in an informal, supportive environment modeled on the way we learn our first language(s). 22 languages available: Arabic, Cantonese, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin Chinese, Mongolian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Taiwanese, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Gap Year Programs

LEX offers a Gap Year for All with our World Internship Project in Japan, Korea, and Mexico.  Gain valuable skills while experiencing an amazing exchange of language and culture on a personalized program with flexible start dates.  
​LEX also offers short and longterm opportunities for hosting and homestay travel to students, adults of all ages, couples, and families with small children.​  25+ partner countries include: Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Micronesia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam. ​

Books and Audio

LEX publishes educational materials - audio materials and books - in the areas of languages and linguistics as well as math and science. LEX audio materials and books are ideal for those who enjoy learning through immersion and self-discovery.
