In Multilingual Natural Immersion, LEX / Hippo President Kenshi Suzuki expands upon and and updates the theories and practices of natural language acquisition described in earlier LEX publications. The book covers the period from 2010-2020 and highlights recent advances in the LEX / Hippo Way such as the “Munaimmer House”, the process of creating a multilingual natural immersion environment through the use of multiple audio speakers in the home. Other topics include what it means to be a multilingual person; reflections on the time his family spent living in New York; the Joint Research Project on Multilingualism and the Brain; and recent explorations of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and the Silk Road.
