Working with a university instead of a hotel gives us the wonderful opportunity to be together for the whole weekend.  It also helps us reduce program costs as Boston hotels are some of the most expensive in the country.  Please understand that working with a university means we must follow their deadlines which means early registrations and reduced ability to handle last minute changes.

Friday, June 20 mid-day - Monday, June 23
Curry College
South Campus Residence Hall
1071 Blue Hill Ave Milton, MA 02186

Important Information 1
We plan to travel by yellow school bus from the LEX office in Cambridge to Curry College on Friday, June 20.  Please plan to arrive at the LEX office by 12:30pm if you would like to ride together.  We may add a stop at South Station in Boston if needed.  Please consult with us before purchasing your flights (or bus or train) if you have any questions.

On Monday morning around 8-9:00am, the school bus will depart Curry College for Logan Airport.  Again, we may add a stop at South Station in Boston if needed.

You may also use taxi/Uber/Lyft from Boston to Curry College.  The college is about 10 miles south of Boston;  expect 25-45 minutes from the airport depending on traffic.

Important Information 2
Please note this program includes a lot of walking!  Like many college students, we will have a significant walk to the dining hall - a bit under one mile for each round-trip. The MIT Scavenger Hunt also includes a lot of walking!

Please let us know as early as possible if you would like to request accommodations.  We will have a few cars on campus in case of transportation needs, and we will offer an alternate activity at MIT that requires less walking, or in case of bad weather.

Location

Curry College is located in historic Milton, MA surrounded by nature and beautiful, old homes.  The Suffolk Resolves, forerunner to the Declaration of Independence, was written in Milton.

Accomodations

We will stay together three nights in a college dormitory with suite-style accommodations.  Locals will have the opportunity to stay with us for all three nights or join us as commuters.

Please note accommodations are student dormitories which are made up of rooms with one or two beds in them.  Rooms are in suites that include 2-3 bedrooms and a bathroom.  All beds are singles.  Sheets, towels, and a pillow and a blanket are provided.  Soaps, shampoos, etc. are not provided.

All meals are included from dinner Friday through breakfast Monday.  We will be eating in our own private space in the dining hall, where the food is quite good!

Generally, adults will get their own room and children will share a room.  If you register as a couple, we will put you together in a room with two beds unless otherwise requested. Unlike in a hotel, there is no possibility of adding a cot or otherwise having three people share one room.  If you have special requests about rooms, we will try to accommodate them, but we cannot guarantee it.
