LEX Language Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that offers a variety of resources to fulfill our mission of promoting multilingualism and intercultural understanding.

LEX is also a community open to all languages and all people.

For LEX members, there are three integrated components to the LEX approach – language clubs, educational materials, and international exchange programs.  Many of our programs and materials are available to non-members as well.  Various scholarships are available to make our programs accessible to as many people as possible.

Language Club Activities

Language Clubs

LEX Language Project offers immersion-style multilingual language learning clubs for families and individuals of all ages. The clubs offer an informal, supportive, no-pressure environment for acquiring and maintaining languages through a variety of activities including games, music, listening to LEX audio materials, and conversation. Each club has a facilitator; however, there are no teachers, drills, homework, or tests. Currently, there are LEX clubs in Japan, Korea, Mexico, and the United States.

Exchange Programs

Through LEX offices in Japan, Korea, Mexico, and the United States, as well as partnerships with organizations in other countries, LEX offers exchange programs in more than 25 countries for youth, adults, and families. Participants have the opportunity to experience life with a local family by doing a homestay as part of the exchange program. Not only do LEX members have the opportunity to travel abroad, but they can also host visitors from other countries, sharing U.S. life while learning about a new culture.
