LEX America and the LEX Institute in Japan also exchange with Australia, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, India, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mexico, Micronesia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, San Marino, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Members of LEX Language Project can travel to any of these countries.

MULTILINGUAL YOUTH CAMPS IN CHINA AND SOUTH EAST ASIA

 

LEX also has two annual Multilingual Youth Camps - one in China and one in Southeast Asia - with participants from many different Asian countries. LEX America members are welcome to participate as well - it is a unique opportunity to make new friends from many nations and to celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures in our world!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Asian Multilingual Youth Camp in Shanghai and Homestay in Tokyo Estimated Program Fee: $3500 Tentative Dates: August 13 - August 27, 2012 *August 14-20 in Tokyo (which includes one night hotel stay) *August 20-27 in Shanghai (3 nights at Transnational Camp, and 3 nights homestay in Shanghai plus 2 nights hotel stay) The camp outside of Shanghai is held at a boarding school in a beautiful rural setting which prepares a variety of healthy and organic meals. Activities include dancing, music, crafts, culture sharing, a bonfire, and of course language club activities. This program is designed for university students and youth from China, Korea, Japan and all over Asia and the world. The Asian Multilingual Nature Camp which was held in Malaysia in 2010 and 2011 was a great success! The program in Malaysia included 5 nights homestay with a local family. This program is ideal for teenagers or secondary school students from different countries but everyone is welcome to participate. In 2012, this program will be held in Thailand.

Activities include nature skills, dancing, music, crafts, sports, culture sharing, and of course language club activities. This program is designed for youth ages 12-18 from Thailand, China, Korea, Japan and all over Asia and the world. However, everyone is welcome!
